This is Buffalo's Hoyt Lake located in Delaware park at sunrise. On this morning there was a light layer of fog on the far end of the lake. As the sun broke over the trees bathing the line of row boats in a warm glow.
I am a photographer located in Western New York with 20 years experience. I got my start with my Grandfather's Minolta x-700 while at Boston University working in B&W film. Hours in the darkroom have been replaced with hours behind the computer screen after I made the switch to digital about ten years ago. This has given me the ability to more accurately portray the scene as I remember it. I predominately shoot nature, landscape and urban/cityscape photography, freezing a moment in time that will never happen again. Taking the time to capture these moments is one of the great pleasures in my life. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed creating them. This is absolutely breathtaking! It looks like a painting. I love fog, lakes and row boats, so I am so drawn to this. I wonder how the people get to the row boats, as I don't see them near a dock! LOL Fave

Thank you... There are tied together on a mooring that move (must not be very heavy)... They rent them out and have one boat on the shore that they use to bring them in during rentals... I work next door so I get to photograph them often... love these boats :)
